Marc Aspland is the Chief Sports Photographer at The Times newspaper in London, where he has worked since 1988, after joining from the Watford Observer. He has covered four FIFA World Cup finals, plus every English FA Cup Final and each Wimbledon tennis final from 1988 to 2013. He has also shot at a host of British Open golf championships, World Athletics events, F1 Grand Prix, Six Nations rugby, and every Rugby World Cup tournament since 1991. In addition to photographing sport (and receiving numerous awards for it), he also shoots other genres and is a past winner of Royal Photographer of the Year. In 2009 Marc Aspland became a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain.
Terry is a freelance photographer from Liverpool, England. The holder of three Fellowships, including the Royal Photographic Society FRPS, the Societies FSWPP, the British Photographic Exhibitions FBPE and a Masters with the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain MPAGB. At the show Terry will talk about his move from DSLR to mirrorless, focusing on sport and most recently his work at Isle of Man TT races.
With over 30 years experience as a professional photographer, OLYMPUS Ambassador Mike Inkley works primarily in the field of motorsport photography. Covering F1, Touring Cars, Moto GP, etc. His images have been used by most of the leading TV channels and UK national papers. In addition to having in excess of 5,000 published images, he writes about motorsport and has had over 1,500 published articles.
With over 20 years of photographic experience in several fields, including sport, travel, automotive, landscape and photojournalism, Jeff Carter runs MacLean Photographic in Dunbar on Scotland’s east coast. Jeff works for the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile, the world governing body of motor sport, on the FIA World Endurance Championship and is also the Photo Delegate for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Jeff is also part of the organisation team for the European Le Mans Series and the Michelin Le Mans Cup and travels the globe working on these high profile championships. He uses Fujifilm X-H1, X-T2 and X-Pro2 Mirrorless cameras.
Vanguard Advocate Stewart Marsden is a multi-disciplined photographer with nearly 30 years of experience, who shoots everything from landscape to sports photography. His true passion and specialism is City & Street Photography: finding the unpredictability of the streets an exciting environment to shoot in, while looking for compositions that are ever changing. He has received much acclaim for his skyline photography, most notably as the official photographer for The Mayor of London’s New Year Fireworks Display. Stewart shoots on all manner of cameras but has a particular passion for old film cameras like the Leica M2. At the show Stewart will show you how to get the best out of tripod photography when it comes to fast cars and landscapes.
Hailing from Carmarthen in South West Wales, Steven’s passion for imaging developed upon joining University Of Wales Trinity St David to study in 2010. Graduating with a BA Hon’s in Film & Media in 2013 also receiving the Tudor Bevan award for his contribution to creative arts in Wales. Since graduating Steven has worked with a large number of clients including Ford Performance, Artifex Media, Panasonic Europe, Peugeot Sport and many others.
